Mechanical and Electrical Engineer Registered Engineer with the Engineering Council, Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, Member of the Society of Light and Lighting and Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers. Phil has had 40 years engineering experience that includes 30 years in the building services industry, 7 years in shipbuilding and 3 years in gas platform fabrication and development. He has worked on a wide range of building developments including Nursing Homes, Churches, Civic Buildings, Social Welfare Hostels, Hospitals, Sports Centres, Schools, Private Houses, Office blocks, manufacturing Warehouses. Science Development Park, Sizewell "B" power station, etc.
The electrical and associated schemes which have been designed and installed under his direction include site electrical MV network, sub-station LV installations, electrical infrastructure schemes, general power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire detection systems, structured cable schemes, intruder alarms and lightning protection schemes.
